While shaping this piece, I kept thinking about how nature creates beauty without ever trying to be perfect. Every surface in the nature carries marks of time, growth, and change, yet nothing feels incomplete. As I worked with the clay, I allowed the textures to grow freely, almost the way earth, bark, and stone form their own patterns over time. The face slowly emerged from those textures, calm and still, as if it belonged to the landscape itself. Adding the piece of bark felt like acknowledging that everything we create ultimately comes from nature. This sculpture became a quiet appreciation of the imperfect, raw, and deeply beautiful language of the nature.
